The building, which occupies an area of 10,000 square meters, dates back to the 60s and has been the subject of integral redevelopment that has allowed to maximise the thermal efficiency, minimising dispersion and ensure an appropriate lighting comfort. The building is equipped with a high performance facade, and a green roof that contributes to the internal building temperature control.
It was obtained a high environmental quality building, bringing the building from class G (EPh=82.85 KWh/m3a) in class A (EPh=5.62 KWh/m3a), guaranteeing internal spaces of high comfort and improving the quality of the surrounding environment.
The project was awarded the Prize in 2014 Rebuild.
Tekser’s task involved the design for permits executive planning, the Works Direction design, energy consulting and testing.
In particular, energy consulting activity was carried out guaranteeing continuously monitoring with the verification of maintaining the energy class among the variations introduced during construction.
