University of Aquila

In the context of the agreement stipulated by ENI with the Ministry of Education of the University and Research and with the University of Aquila for the designing and implementing a Research Centre for university’s use mainly focused on energy and environment issues, Tekser deals with the preliminary and final planning of electrical and mechanical systems.

The facility, which will cover an area of about 15,000 square meters, owned by the University itself, will host approximately 50 laboratories, along with technical areas, classrooms, offices and accomodation facilities for 100 researchers, will be realised by adopting sustainable technologies with the use of renewable energy sources.

Particular attention will be given to ensure maximum functional flexibility to a structure that is expected in the following to play a primary role in the research of renewable energy sources. The structure as well will be realised by making use of innovative solutions for protection against earthquakes.
