Leed PlatinumProject Description
Our company has started the building services design as part of a comprehensive energy refurbishment project, aimed at achieving carbon neutrality and optimising indoor environmental quality — IEQ.
The project includes the sizing of VRF systems and high-efficiency heat pumps, compliant with the requirements of the LEED v4 BD+C: Hospitality certification.
Thermal and cooling loads have been estimated at 550 kWt and 950 kWf respectively, together with gas/liquid distribution systems with 2/4-pipe networks. The installation of centralized AHUs with heat recovery units has been planned for the common areas and kitchen zones.
The system has been integrated with a three-level centralized BACS management system. The building is currently undergoing LEED certification with our company. Based on a preliminary analysis, the Certified certification level is achievable under version 4 of the LEED BD+C: Hospitality protocol, while the Platinum level appears to be attainable.
